Moya Dayen Limited Signs Memorandum of Understanding With Perusahaan Daerah Air Minum Kota Makassar, Indonesia

Moya Dayen Limited announced that it has on October 27, 2010 signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Perusahann Daerah Air Minum (PDAM) Kota Makassar to undertake a Build-Own-Operate-Transfer (BOOT) scheme to construct, expand and/or improve the supply of drinking water to the City of Makassar (Project). The Project will consist of two phases. Phase 1 will involve the construction and operation of a water treatment plant with a capacity of 43,200 m3/day for a period of 20 years. Phase 2 will involve the construction and operation of a second water treatment plant with a capacity of 43,200 m3/day and further expansions, upgrading as well as enhancement of the existing distribution network owned by PDAM Kota Makassar. Under the terms of the MOU, MoyaDayen is designated as the initiating party for this Project until the Project is awarded. As the initiating party, MoyaDayen will carry out a feasibility study in the form of a Work Plan & Budget in respect of the construction and operation of the Project and preparation of the Request for Proposal (RFP) documents for PDAM Kota Makassar and the Mayor of Makassar to initiate a tender process. In the event that MoyaDayen is awarded the Project, Moya Dayen will proceed to negotiate and sign a BOOT Agreement and other related agreements as required with PDAM Kota Makassar to implement the Project.
